Dish Rock, Domes and Basalt Bubblers
Basalt dish rocks, domes and bubblers are created only under precise conditions. When rare intrusions exist between basalt columns, these pillowed and dished structures form.
Dish rock is perfect for creating a one-of-a-kind water feature or for use as a natural bird bath. Typical dish rocks have a 18-30” diameter with varying heights.
When we find dish rock with a perfectly rounded underside, we flip them over to create our basalt domes.
